The Christian Lil Wayne and Non-Illuminati Hip Hop

After working on my Rihanna re-writes, I stumbled upon a bunch of artists who were already doing what I wanted to do. Rewriting the lyrics of “hard” contemporary hip hop to something more positive…ie Black power and/or Christian. I’m late! Some of this stuff has been on YouTube for years. This is probably the stuff my brother has been DJing with all this time.

I’ve always been a big fan of hip hop, but can not stand the destructive lyrical content of most of what we hear on radio and tv. This playlist means I get down to Lil Wayne’s beats without commiserating. There are some Nigerian artists in there and Dancehall/Reggae even. Can I also say that these artists are fine!

Here is the video that blew my mind this morning while looking for Saturday cleaning music (link to playlist follows):

People always ask, “What is the Illuminati? Are they real?” I’ve learned the name illuminati itself is a cover. They are actually the Jesuits of the Catholic Church. This is a fact.

Here’s a quote from John Adams: “My history of the Jesuits is not eloquently written, but it is supported by unquestionable authorities, [and] is very particular and very horrible. Their [the Jesuit Order’s] restoration [in 1814 by Pope Pius VII] is indeed a step toward darkness, cruelty, despotism, [and] death. … I do not like the appearance of the Jesuits. If ever there was a body of men who merited eternal damnation on earth and in hell, it is this Society of [Ignatius de] Loyola.” – John Adams
